My name is Adrian Gandara and I am 7 years old.  I started running when I was 4 years old.  The reason I began running is because my dad and my older brother used to ride their bikes on a rocky trail and I couldn't ride with them because my training wheels would get stuck in the rocks.  I asked my dad many times if he would let me run with them while they rode their bikes, but he didn't think I could run for that long.  Finally, one day he let me and I ran the entire 3 miles next to them. 

In May, 2014 I ran my first 5k.  On November 8th, 2014 I set my best time ever at the Key Biscayne Lighthouse 5K in Miami, Florida and my time was 20:07.
